# Website Redesign for Kent Businesses

> Your site is a few years old, slow on a phone, and the enquiries have dried up. I rebuild it properly, and carry your Google rankings across so you don't start again from zero.

A second website is a different job from a first one. The design matters, but the move is where businesses lose their place on Google. A redirect map sends every old page address to its matching page on the new site, so rankings and old links carry across.

## Signs It's Time

- **The phone has gone quiet.** People still find you, but fewer get in touch.
- **You'd rather not send people to it.** Old prices, old photos, services you no longer offer.
- **Nobody can change it.** The person who built it has gone, the login is lost, or every change breaks a plugin.
- **You're paying for a platform you don't use.** A monthly fee for a site that hasn't changed in two years.

## How a Rebuild Works

1. **Review**. Which pages bring in visitors, which don't, and what's slowing the site down. Free, and you keep the findings.
2. **Plan the move**. A fixed price, the pages to keep, merge or drop, and a redirect for every old address.
3. **Rebuild**. Hand-coded, fast and mobile-first, with content moved across and tidied up. The old site stays live throughout.
4. **Switch and watch**. Live on an agreed day, every redirect checked, Search Console watched for a month.

## Redesign Pricing

Same fixed prices as a new website, with the move included. Not VAT registered, so there's no VAT to add.

- **Rebuild: £1,650** (Most Popular): up to 10 pages. Free review, every old page address redirected, content moved across and tidied up, Google Business & Analytics, Search Console checked for a month after launch, 3 revisions, hosting from launch at £25/mo.
- **Growth Rebuild: £3,650**: everything in Rebuild, plus unlimited pages, blog or news moved across with training, full SEO page by page, free logo redesign (optional), hosting from launch at £25/mo.

## FAQ

### Will I lose my Google rankings?

Not if the move is done properly, and that is most of the job. I list every page Google knows about on your current site and point each one at its new home, so old links and search results land on the right page. A small wobble for a few weeks after launch is normal while Google catches up. I watch Search Console for the first month and fix anything that slips.

### Can you move me off WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?

Yes. I rebuild the site by hand, so you are not tied to a page builder or a stack of plugins that need updating. Your content, images and page addresses come across, and you stop paying for the old platform once the new site is live.

### Do I keep my domain and email?

Yes. Your domain stays in your name, and your email stays exactly where it is. Moving a website only changes where the domain's web address points, not where your email is delivered. I check your email settings before the switch so nothing goes quiet.

### How long does a redesign take?

Most rebuilds take three to five weeks from agreeing the scope, depending on how many pages there are and how quickly content comes back. Your current site stays live the whole time. The switch happens on a day we agree, usually early in the week, so there is time to check everything.

### Do I need to rewrite all my content?

No. We keep what works, especially the pages that already bring in visitors from Google, and tidy up or rewrite the pages that don't. Most sites have a few pages doing all the work and a lot of pages doing nothing. Knowing which is which is part of the review.
